Trust in this community is earned by being checkable. This page states the commitments the product is designed around, the roles that gate launch, and the honest list of what is not true yet. Hold the site to all three.
Product design, not decoration
Six commitments the product is built around
The first two are anchored in the sources this site cites: the halachic literature itself puts life ahead of the fast,[1] and the OU's Passover guidance tells readers to involve both their doctor and their rabbi before touching a medicine decision.[2] The rest are design choices you can verify on this site today.
Facts with citations, never rulings
Every fasting and medication page reports what named sources say, labels, annual lists, published halachic literature, with the citation in the sentence. No page will ever tell you a product is kosher, that a fast is safe, or what your obligation is. Your rav rules; your clinician owns the risk.
Life first, always
Nothing here will ever encourage fasting against medical risk. The literature this site cites says it plainly: preservation of human life overrides the commandments. Every fast-day page routes readers to their own clinician before the fast, every time.
Ingredient transparency, per product
Every planned product carries a label-cited ingredient disclosure sheet for the exact formulation, written to be handed to your rav. If a product's facts cannot be verified, the product is not listed, which is why one category on the pricing page has no price.
The calendar is a design input
Care planned around fast days and festivals with your clinician. Nothing scheduled, and no reply expected, on Shabbat or holidays. The plan knows which day it is, so you never have to explain it.
Prices posted before launch
Planned pricing is published now, labeled as planned, with nothing purchasable. If a figure changes before launch, the pricing page changes first. No renewal number appears until it is real.
No identity claims
Cultural competence here is commitments and product design, not claimed identity. This site does not tell you who runs it is observant, does not borrow credibility with names, and does not collect information about your observance or affiliation.

An endocrinologist or a doctor of pharmacy co-signing every fasting protocol, because wrong guidance here is worse than no brand. Open, unfilled.

Clinical and founding leadership from within the community, holding real equity, not an advisory logo. If no credible partner will co-own this, that is the market's answer. Open, unfilled.

- Clinician matching by background, gender, or language is not promised, because the capability is not built.
When any line above stops being true, it comes off this list and the real name or fact goes on the site, with its own standing. Until then, the honest tense is future.

If one of the open roles reads like you
This form is an introduction, not an application. It goes to a person, not a pipeline, and nothing about the project is decided by it. If there is a fit, the conversation starts with what you would hold authority over, and the equity that goes with it.
If you are here as a patient instead, the waitlist is the right form, and the guides are free either way.
About the name: Refuah is a common Hebrew word, and unrelated organizations use it. This independent project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Refuah Health Center of New York or any other organization, and it will rename rather than trade on confusion if clearance says so.
